Burgers, Beers, Bikes...does it get any better?
This is what I thought to myself when I walked into DEUS's House of Simple Pleasures flagship in Sydney's Camperdown. I'd heard about the event through a friend and decided it was too good an opportunity to pass up...glad we went!
There were plenty of people sharing build ideas, catching up over a beer, or just soaking up the atmosphere with a tasty burger in hand. The whole idea was to put on a great event for locals to enjoy - and boy did they succeed! There were raffles, a trophy presentation and a really cool Triumph street-to-tracker conversion done right before the crowd.
As we wandered around the store there was tons of culture to soak in, what I especially liked was the wicked helmet display, definitely inspiration for my own little helmet collection!
Let the good times roll as they say!
As the night went on, there was a trophy presentation for the greatest slide, and some cool prizes to be won.
There's something about the stripped-back, purposeful stance that trackers have that I admire, from the distinctive handlebar configuratrion, to the sharp tail-section that looks rad, or maybe its the race lettering? It looks so right!
I'd like to thank the wonderful DEUS Camperdown team for throwing an awesome event, and I'm looking forward to the next one!
